HOW DO I USE DANCERX CBD BALM
It is best to use CBD balm on clean and dry skin. If you are using the balm for pain relief, it is important to thoroughly massage the product into your skin until it has been fully absorbed. Massaging will help stimulate the absorption of the balm into the affected area and will help ensure that the active ingredients can target the source of discomfort and provide quick relief. For our CBD Balm in particular, we recommend twisting up the balm stick until ½” is visible. Then, apply liberally to the affected area. Best results occur with repeated and daily use of this topical.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FIRE & ICE AND ORIGINAL BALM?
Both balms are similar in base formula and effects but differ in sensation and scent. Our Fire & Ice has a heating & cooling “tingle” sensation when applied to the skin while the original has little to no skin sensation. This is due to the natural menthol and camphor extracts in our Fire & Ice balm
What Are Topical CBD Products?
Topical CBD products are applied directly to the skin in an effort to alleviate aches and pains or even skin irritation depending on the formulation. Furthermore, topical CBD products are usually made with a carrier oil, such as jojoba oil, and a variety of other natural ingredients, such as beeswax and essential oils. These act as carriers for the CBD, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin and kickstart its beneficial effects faster.
Some balms also contain menthol, capsaicin or camphor, which can provide additional cooling or heating relief. CBD balms are designed to naturally soothe sore muscles and relieve pain either on or below the skin.
How Does CBD Balm Work?
CBD muscle balm works by primarily targeting CB2 receptors in the body. They are part of your endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is a network of receptors and enzymes that are found throughout the human body. These receptors are responsible for regulating a variety of functions, including pain, immune response, mood, and appetite. The ECS is believed to play a role in maintaining homeostasis, or balance, within the body. When the body is in a state of homeostasis, it is able to function optimally.
Your ECS is made up of two types of receptors: CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are found primarily in the brain and central nervous system, while CB2 receptors are found in the periphery, or outside of the central nervous system. Both CB1 and CB2 receptors bind with cannabinoids, which are chemicals that occur naturally in the body as well as in plants such as cannabis. The most well-known cannabinoid is THC, which is responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis.
These receptors are what allow the body to process CBD efficiently which is why CBD topical products, like a balm, are absorbed directly into your skin and can target specific areas, making them much more effective than oral supplements.
CBD Muscle Balm For Joint Pain
CBD muscle balm has been found as an effective remedy for joint pain. As mentioned above, it has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce swelling and inflammation in joints, making it a great option for those suffering from arthritis or other joint ailments. Additionally, CBD balm can provide relief from muscular aches and pains when applied directly to the affected area.
CBD Muscle Balm For Workout Soreness
As well as helping to reduce post-workout soreness by soothing muscles and joints, CBD balm can also help to improve circulation and promote healing. For best results, apply the balm before and after exercise.
You can also use it as needed throughout the day to provide relief from pain and discomfort. With regular use, you’ll notice a decrease in post-workout soreness and an improvement in overall recovery time.
